JobReshape is designed to make recruitment easier while giving users practical tools to identify and report suspicious activity. Trust and safety is a shared responsibility between the platform, employers and job seekers.
Our Safety Measures

- Job review and approval controls before employer-submitted vacancies are published.
- Job reporting tools for suspicious or inappropriate listings.
- Application and interview records that help keep recruitment activity organized.
- Account-based communication and notification features.
- Administrative controls for reviewing companies, jobs, reports and platform activity.
What Verification Means
A verification indicator means that JobReshape has reviewed information submitted through its verification process. Verification can reduce uncertainty, but it cannot guarantee an employer’s future behaviour, every statement in a vacancy or the outcome of a recruitment process.
Warning Signs for Job Seekers
- A recruiter asks for your password, PIN or one-time verification code.
- You are asked to send money, cryptocurrency or gift cards to secure an ordinary job opportunity.
- The employer refuses to provide reasonable information about the role or organization.
- The offer promises unusually high compensation for little or no work and pressures you to act immediately.
- You are asked to move the conversation to an unusual channel and provide sensitive information before basic recruitment checks.
- The sender’s email address or website closely imitates a known company but does not match its legitimate domain.
- You receive an offer without a reasonable application or assessment process for a role that would normally require one.
Protect Your Personal Information
A CV should generally contain only information reasonably necessary for recruitment. Avoid including passwords, banking PINs, one-time codes or copies of sensitive identity documents unless there is a legitimate, verified and necessary reason at the appropriate stage of recruitment.
Interview Safety
Confirm the employer and interview details before attending. For physical interviews, consider sharing the location and schedule with someone you trust. Be cautious if an interview location unexpectedly changes to an unusual private location or if you are pressured to make an immediate payment.
Safety Guidance for Employers
- Use applicant information only for genuine recruitment.
- Do not request unnecessary sensitive information.
- Keep vacancy information accurate and current.
- Communicate professionally and clearly identify your organization.
- Do not use candidate contact information for unrelated marketing without appropriate permission.
- Protect CVs and applicant records from unauthorized access.
Reporting a Job
If a vacancy appears suspicious, misleading, fraudulent, abusive or otherwise inappropriate, use the Report this job option on the job page. Reports are reviewed administratively and may lead to further review, restriction or removal where appropriate.
If You Suspect Fraud
Stop communicating with the suspicious party, do not send money or additional sensitive information, preserve relevant messages or evidence, and report the activity to JobReshape. Where appropriate, you may also need to contact your bank, payment provider or relevant local authorities.
Our Role
JobReshape provides recruitment technology, moderation tools and trust features. We are not a party to the employment relationship between employers and candidates and cannot guarantee the conduct of every user. Users should make appropriate independent checks before entering an employment arrangement.
