Xpedient Services is currently recruiting an experienced Nanny to provide childcare and household support for a family in Abuja.
Role Overview
The Experienced Nanny will be responsible for providing daily care and supervision for two young children aged 3 and 4 years.
The successful candidate will ensure the children remain safe, comfortable, and properly cared for while supporting their daily routines, personal hygiene, and early learning activities.
The position also involves maintaining a clean and organised home, assisting with general housekeeping duties, and creating a positive environment for the children's development.
The employer is seeking an energetic, dependable, and experienced childcare professional who understands the needs of toddlers and can manage responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Childcare and Daily Supervision
- Provide attentive care and supervision for two children aged 3 and 4 years.
- Ensure the children's safety and wellbeing throughout the day.
- Monitor their daily activities and respond promptly to their needs.
- Maintain a caring and supportive environment.
- Follow established childcare routines and household instructions.
- Ensure the children receive appropriate attention and supervision at all times.
- Plan suitable learning and recreational activities for the children's ages.
- Engage the children in educational games, storytelling, reading, and creative activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and age-appropriate social development.
- Support the development of basic communication and learning skills.
- Organise activities that keep the children engaged in a safe and productive manner.
- Assist the children with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care activities as required.
- Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness.
- Help the children follow their daily routines.
- Keep their clothes, toys, and personal belongings clean and organised.
- Encourage good hygiene habits and appropriate personal care practices.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as required by the employer.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised home environment.
- Keep the children's rooms, play areas, and belongings properly arranged.
- Support daily household cleaning and organisation.
- Ensure the home remains safe and comfortable for the children.
- Maintain constant awareness of potential safety risks.
- Ensure the children are supervised during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Follow household safety rules and childcare instructions.
- Report any concerns relating to the children's health, safety, or behaviour.
- Demonstrate punctuality and responsibility in carrying out daily duties.
Requirements
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements stated by the employer:
- Female candidate between 25 and 35 years old.
- Previous practical experience caring for toddlers or young children.
- Ability to provide proper care for children aged 3 and 4 years.
- Good understanding of children's daily routines, hygiene, and safety needs.
- Energetic, attentive, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Strong time management and punctuality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits
Monthly Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000
