The company is currently recruiting an experienced Farm Operations Manager to oversee poultry farming activities, supervise farm workers, manage livestock health, and support farm sales in Onidundun, Akinyele Local Government Area, Oyo State.
Role Overview
The Farm Operations Manager will be responsible for managing daily poultry farm activities to ensure healthy livestock, efficient production, and profitable operations.
The successful candidate will oversee poultry feeding, vaccination, medication, and harvesting activities while supervising farm employees and maintaining proper operational records.
The position also involves coordinating farm product sales, monitoring poultry health, and ensuring that farm resources are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Poultry Farm Operations
- Manage daily poultry farming activities, including feeding, livestock care, and harvesting.
- Monitor farm operations to ensure productivity and efficient use of available resources.
- Ensure poultry are properly fed and maintained under suitable farming conditions.
- Coordinate daily work schedules and ensure farm activities are completed on time.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend practical improvements.
- Implement approved vaccination and medication programmes for poultry.
- Monitor the health and general condition of birds.
- Identify early signs of illness and take appropriate action to prevent disease outbreaks.
- Maintain accurate records of vaccinations, medications, and poultry health activities.
- Promote good farm hygiene and appropriate biosecurity practices.
- Supervise farm workers and coordinate their daily responsibilities.
- Assign duties and monitor employee performance.
- Ensure workers follow established farm procedures and safety practices.
- Provide guidance to farm employees to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Maintain an organised and productive working environment.
- Coordinate the sale of poultry and other farm products.
- Maintain accurate records of farm sales and related transactions.
- Monitor sales activities to support revenue generation.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve farm profitability.
- Ensure proper documentation of products sold and available stock.
- Maintain records of poultry inventory, feeding, vaccination, medication, and sales.
- Track farm production activities and operational performance.
- Prepare regular updates on farm activities and productivity.
- Monitor the use of farm supplies and other resources.
- Report operational challenges and recommend improvements.
Requirements
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in poultry farming and farm sales.
- Good understanding of poultry management, feeding, and general farm operations.
- Practical knowledge of poultry health, vaccination, and medication procedures.
- Experience supervising farm workers and coordinating daily farming activities.
- Ability to maintain accurate farm production and sales records.
- Good organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage farm resources efficiently and support profitable operations.

Benefits
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from ₦120,000 to ₦130,000.
