Job Description

Hassiad Technologies Limited is a Nigerian technology and software services company based in Lagos. The company provides IT consulting, software development, and digital solutions designed to support the needs of modern businesses.

Hassiad Technologies is currently looking for a Mobile App Developer with strong React Native experience to join its engineering team.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will join the mobile development team and contribute to the development and maintenance of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.

You will be responsible for writing maintainable code, connecting applications to backend services, improving application performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with other developers throughout the software development process.

The role is suitable for a developer with solid mobile development experience who understands both React Native and the wider mobile application ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

Connect mobile applications with backend APIs and services.

Improve application performance, stability, and responsiveness.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

Work with native iOS and Android modules when required.

Investigate, debug, and resolve application errors and technical issues.

Test applications to identify and resolve bugs before release.

Follow mobile development best practices throughout the development process.

Keep up with changes, tools, libraries, and developments within the React Native ecosystem.

Work with other members of the engineering team to deliver mobile application features.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least 3 years of experience in mobile application development.

Strong practical knowledge of React Native.

Experience working with native iOS and Android modules.

Understanding of mobile application deployment and distribution through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Familiarity with mobile user interface and user experience principles.

Experience testing mobile applications across different devices and environments.

Good understanding of RESTful APIs.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.

Good understanding of software development practices and version control is an advantage.

Ability to work effectively as part of a development team.
